The paddy planting season in Bihar is slowly coming to an end. In such a situation, the worries of the farmers are increasing. The lack of rain in the months of Ashadh and Sawan has started giving signs of drought in Bihar. The rain and weather season of June and July is considered the most important. In such a situation, the displeasure of monsoon in Bihar is a matter of great concern for the state. Many districts have received less than normal rainfall.

The weather department believes that there are chances of rain in Bihar but it is continuously being broken. Barring one or two districts of the state, almost all the districts are moving towards the grip of these two severe droughts. If we talk about about eight districts of Bihar, the percentage of rainfall has been estimated to be less than 50 percent, which is a matter of concern for the state. The weather department believes that there is no significant change in the monsoon in Bihar in the coming 48 hours and people are not going to get relief from the humid heat.

Darbhanga and Gopalganj experienced the highest heat

On the other hand, maximum temperature of 40.0 degree Celsius was recorded in Darbhanga and Gopalganj of the state. The temperatures in other districts of the state were as follows: Patna 37.6, Gaya 35.9, Bhagalpur 36.3, Purnia 36.0, Valmiki Nagar 37.4, Muzaffarpur 36.0, Chhapra 36.2, Supaul 37.0, Forbesganj 36.2, Dehri 36.0, Madhubani 35.4, Motihari 38.0, Sheikhpura 37.3, Jamui 35.4, Buxar 39.4, Vaishali 37.7, Aurangabad 38.1, Begusarai 37.1, Banka 36.5, Katihar 35.1, Nawada 36.4, Rajgir 36.8, Araria 35.6, Jiradei 38.0, Pusa 36.0, Kishanganj 34.0, Arwal 37.7 and Bikramganj 37.7 degrees Celsius was recorded.

There will be no significant weather change in the next 48 hours

There is a crisis of shortage of rain in Bihar as well. Due to this indifference of monsoon, drought is seen in many parts of the state. If we look at the figures, the state has received 35% less rainfall so far. Less rainfall for paddy transplantation is a matter of concern. Bhabua, Patna, Darbhanga, Madhepura, Saharsa, Samastipur, Saran and Vaishali received 50% less rainfall than normal while Buxar, Jehanabad, Katihar, Lakhisarai, Nalanda, Sheikhpura and Samastipur received less than 30% rainfall. In 24 hours, monsoon is weak and light rain has been recorded at one or two places in the state. If we talk about temperature, the maximum temperature in the entire state is one to two degrees Celsius more than its normal and the amount of humidity was more than 60%. According to the current scenario radar and satellite images and today’s numerical model, there is no possibility of any significant weather change in Bihar in the next 48 hours. Light rain and relief from humid heat is expected at one or two places in the state.
